We have all heard teachers at the beginning of a class fervently encouraging their students to participate. Why? They are hoping to have the chance to no only identify if they are getting their lesson across but also to asses the needs of their students. Web 2.0 will generate the same benefits as class participation to learner/teacher relationship and bring collaborative learning to online instruction.
In reading the article about Web 2.0 I found that the trend toward e-learning is not only becoming very popular and helpful, but is quickly becoming necessary. As our society is changing and expanding, the possibility and the necessity of interactive online learning is almost "e"volving naturally. (Even Soulja boy's in on it ;) The quality and effectiveness is constantly in need of being upgraded as technology advances. Not to mention the resources that will be saved by programs/companies/universities/governments that incorporate on-line instruction into their framework.
